Cultural Excursions

Petaling Street, KL - Great Chinese food, cheap knock-offs and plenty of people watching. Best during the afternoon until night. Central Market is nearby for all your souvenir shopping needs.

Brickfields, KL - Diverse houses of worship, great Indian food, good to check out at any time of the day.
Kampung Baru, KL - A literal village in the middle of the city, old Malay-style houses, great Malay and Indonesian food. Best seen at night.

Batu Caves, Gombak - One of the most popular Hindu shrines outside India, dedicated to Lord Murugan.
Islamic Arts Museum, KL - Well-curated, beautiful exhibits on Islamic arts and history. Open daily 10am-6pm.

Views of KL

Petronas Twin Towers, KL - Get a stunning view of the Golden Triangle of KL from the skybridge connecting the twin towers. Open Tuesdays-Sundays, 9am-9pm.

KL Tower, KL - For 360° views of the city from 276m up, open daily 9am-10pm.

Nature

Kiara Hill walk [near parties] - Get your morning jog in at one of the most popular parks in the suburbs. There’s also a 5.5km hiking trail if you’re keen.

Aquaria, KL - Observe multiple aquatic ecosystems at this beautiful indoor aquarium at KLCC.  Open daily 10am-8pm.

1 Utama [near parties] - Everything you could possibly want in a mall, from high end designer brands to indoor skydiving.

Amcorp Mall flea market [near classes] - A fun weekend excursion, lots of curious knick-knacks and quirky characters to while away your time.
