What will you be learning from the masters?

  FELIPE & JO NALLA & JESSICA
INTERMEDIATE - ADVANCED Anchoring x Momentum - managing momentum and flow Dancing to melody - experimenting with different “sizes” of movements. Moves can include rotations and spins
Phrasing - listening to the music and adjusting our choices Classic moves and Swingout with syncopated rhythms
Connecting through rhythm - understand and combine different elements to create your own rhythms Solo Jazz routine
ADVANCED Back Following - the best Leaders know how to listen and the top Followers are comfortable sharing their voice Connection and footwork fundamentals - sugar push basics & variations
All Triples - how much time have you really spent thinking about your triple steps? Accessorise the swingout - over-rotations with jumps
All Walks - you can't spend your entire night triple stepping, so let's talk about how else you move your feet Vintage & Advanced remix
GOALS Deepen connection in music and partner dancing as well as improving shapes and rhythm Injecting creativity into partner dancing and Solo Jazz

LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE-ADVANCED

Join this level if you meet most of the following requirements:
  • Have been dancing Lindy Hop actively for almost two years.
  • Regularly attend socials ever since you started dancing and have attended Lindy camps held locally or internationally.
  • Diligently putting in time to practice, or have participated in a performance.
  • Tried your feet at solo jazz and fast lindy during socials.
  • Understand musical phrasing and connection with the music as well as with your partner.
  • You are improvising with moves and rhythms in your dance. You want to learn more concepts than moves.

LEVEL: ADVANCED

Join this level if you meet most of the following requirements:
  • Have been dancing Lindy Hop for three years or more.
  • Attend socials regularly and have attended Lindy camps held locally or internationally.
  • Speak the language of rhythms fluently and the general flow of your dance is reasonably convincing.
  • Have smooth leading and following and have quality in movement and musicality.
  • You are a teacher in your local dance scene.
  • Have an individual style, and know that at this level classes are about creativity and refinement.
  • Are looking for a challenging class environment and are prepared to work hard.

Special Beginner Plus Track

This is the track for you if you are new to this dance but still want to learn from overseas instructors. We are bringing in guests from HK Swing to lead this series of classes. 
​

Spicing Up Your Basic (2 hours)
Now that you know a bunch of fundamental Lindy Hop moves, it's time to revisit and do them a little differently.

Beginner Charleston+ (2 hours)
Learn a routine that combines both solo and partnered Charleston (this helps beginners add more to their Charleston repertoire)

LEVEL: BEGINNER PLUS

Join this level if you meet most of the following requirements:
  • Have been dancing Lindy Hop for at least 6 months and up to 1 year.
  • Try to attend as much social dances as you can and you enjoy it.
  • Eager to work on your basic footwork and to learn new moves.
  • Have taken a beginners class or workshop and are looking for more ways to improve your dance.​
